Delete your data

Use this page whether you run a store on Selright or you are a customer who chatted with or bought from one. It meets the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, GDPR and Meta's platform rules.

If you are a merchant

We close your account and delete your store, catalog, team, customers, conversations, uploaded sales knowledge, WhatsApp connection and AI settings. Records of paid orders needed for tax are kept only as long as the law requires.

If you are a customer

We remove your chats, profile, contact details and delivery addresses from the store you name (or every store, if you tell us). Replying "stop" to any message ends follow-ups immediately without a request.

Customers: give the WhatsApp number you chatted from, and the store's name if you know it.

What happens next. We confirm the request came from the owner of that email or number, usually by replying to it. Deletion is completed within 30 days of confirmation, normally within a few days, and we tell you when it is done. This cannot be undone.
